Everfox 2025 Predictions
AI and Social Engineering will continue to top the leader board in terms of challenges for the cyber industry
AI will give attackers an advantage in cyberattacks, particularly against human targets, by enabling more personalized and convincing attacks, such as large-scale spearphishing campaigns using social media data. In 2025, these attacks could span both official and personal communication channels, making them harder to defend against without strong technical controls. Everfox is cementing its position to defend against these threats by addressing them at the root.
Expect a rise in quantum and other threats to encryption
The imminent development of quantum capabilities to break PKE encryption will accelerate “hack now, crack later” attacks on sensitive data by nation state actors in a race with defenders who are trying to implement quantum-resistant algorithms. Everfox’s portfolio of solutions can mitigate this risk by using hardware-enforced security (hardsec) access technologies like hardsec browser isolation and virtual environments to ensure that users are able to view and interact with data they need, but do not have the permissions to download the source files.
